Enable SSH login as ‘root’ user

  1. Open /etc/ssh/sshd_config file:
  2. Search for PermitRootLogin
  3. Change this line as: PermitRootLogin yes
  4. Restart ssh service (/etc/init.d/ssh restart or service sshd restart)
